Request account deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your MyInspector account and related personal data. MyInspector is the mobile application published for property inspection workflows.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to support@app-myinspector.com.
2. Use the subject line: MyInspector account deletion request.
3. Include the email address registered on your MyInspector account (and your name, if different).
4. Confirm that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.

We may ask you to verify that you control the account before we proceed.

What we delete

After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize personal data tied to your user account, including:

• Account profile information (such as name and email used for sign-in);
• Authentication identifiers for your login;
• Device push notification tokens linked to your account;
• Personal settings associated with your user profile.

What may be retained

Some information may be kept for a limited time when required for legitimate business or legal purposes, for example:

• Inspection / project records created while you worked for an organization (photos, notes, reports) may remain available to that organization as business records until that organization deletes the project or requests removal;
• Billing, security, or legal logs we must keep under law or to resolve disputes;
• Backups may retain copies for a short period until they rotate out of our backup cycle.

We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days after verification. Backup purge may take longer (typically up to 90 days).

Organization-managed accounts

If your access was created by a company administrator (for example, Lexmar or another customer), you can still request deletion of your personal login. Project content owned by the organization may need to be handled by that organization’s administrator.
